Thanks For Great Halloweekend Events!

hey gang!

first...thanks to everyone that made our halloweekend events a smash! parties are all about the people and you guys and gals made our events great! if you we not able to get out this past weekend to either of the Atmos halloweekend '07 events in either DC or reho, you missed some great fun!

thanks to everyone that came out on saturday night to cloud 9 in reho. What a great night with dj ting behind the turntables spinning a great mix perfect for the halloween theme. And how about all those great costumes???..... and exactly what was in that "voo doo" punch?

was good to see paul, gene, david, karl and of course our grand diva sandra out and about! and yes, tony burns was making the rounds again with his ever faithful Kodak brownie documenting the activities... I was informed that our event was his "seventh" party of the evening! george shevlin and his crew added a little spice to the party by bringing the fun from their own halloween party over to ours! what a treat!

the dance floor was packed with costumed characters all night and some even got our special "trick or treat" bags on the way out!

well, as if one halloweekend party wasn't enough, we dashed back to DC to get all the final preps together for the delirium sundays debut of producer / remixer/ and outstanding productions musical guru dj yiannis on sunday night!

the delirium white party & mask ball in DC fit perfectly with the whole halloweeekend theme! sunday night had so much energy , vibe, and muscial juice, that from the start we could tell something special was going on. a special thanks to everyone who came out! you made the party VERY special!

the opening dj duo, evolution boys from philly, cranked up the base and had the place jumpin' early! these guys are going to go far, and our crowd heard their dc debut...the response was over the top! we will be bringing these guys back for an encore'! i was truly amazed. originally from nyc and now in the city of brotherly love, these guys create an energy that seems to bounce off the walls and into your feet...you have no choice but to move!

as great as these guys were, they were simply the appetizers....dj yiannis was the main course and dessert! you know him from his days at nation here in dc and from his production company "outstanding productions" or his many producing and remixing credits on the billboard charts.

anyone who knows me, knows what a detail-oriented pain in the ass I can be. (Ok even people don't know me have heard). so, I am always nervous about new djs playing a venue. how will the crowd respond? do they fit our audience??? etc. blah blah blah.

well, in this case i was an idiot to even remotely worry! there were more people dancing...and I mean shaking their asses for hours...than i have seen in our space in a while.
felt like the whole place was in hyper-drive!

so the next time we bring yiannis back, i suggest we all make a night of it...get plenty of rest with disco nap sunday afternoon and be prepared to "do tha thang!" 'cause you are going to need that energy burst later! yiannis debuted at least one new remix for the crowd that you'll be hearing and seeing on the billboard charts soon! so watch for it!

speaking of watching...all eyes seemed to be glued to our atmos angel boys as they descended down the stairs all decked out in mere touches of strategically placed white fabric and angel wings and their feather masks! don't let the angelic persona fool you, these were cute little devils in disguise LOL. if you missed them, don't worry they'll be back soon!

a very special shout out to the group of ladies visiting dc from oklahoma...these gals had all run in the marine corps marathon earlier that day and then were out til 2am shakin' it on the dance floor! thats when you know the dj has the magic!

more musical euphoria is headed your way. we're keeping things moving on the dance floor the next two weekends with two legendary djs. mark thomas makes the trek down from baltimore to play delirium this sunday night and.....

sunday night november 11 we are proud to bring the one and only DJ ESCAPE to dc for our veteran's day weekend party! this is the big room event dj you've been waiting for. from fire island, to miami, nyc and all over the west coast to points south of the equator, ESCAPE is one of the hottest djs in the world right now!

advanced $15 tickets are available now for the vip level2 lounge section. if you have a party of 8 or more for the vip area we can reserve the "glass floor" private section upstairs. tickets must be purchased in advance through the weekly member email. if you want to reserve the private area, please email me directly bill@atmosevents.com .

be sure to vote in our members poll below for future djs you'd like to see play in dc!
until next time... dance to beat in your head, even if no one else can hear it!
