Yes, it's hard to believe but this weekend marks the end of yet another Summer Beach Party season in Rehoboth. And what a summer it's been! We've crammed a lot of parties into a short time. Inferno, Ignition, Military Maneuvers, Retro Groove, Divalicious, Madonna Five-0!, White party, Beach Ball and now this weekend we top it all off with the season closing party...the fourth annual Pecs&Pearls bash!

We'll crank it all up this Saturday night at Cloud 9 10p-2a with DJ Tony Ruiz in the booth with his fierce brand of high energy dance music. SUNDANCE: Saturday & Sunday Nights @ The Rehoboth Beach Convention Center Tickets are still available for the silent & live auction on Saturday night and the big dance on Sunday night. Tickets are available at the event, the CAMP Rehoboth office at 37 Baltimore Avenue, an on the beach Saturday. This is one of the largest charity event of the summer. "Post Cards" From Independence Week; New Pics In Our Galleries

This is a bit of a departure form my regular notes about our events. Just a few comments on soem of the great times and people our crew was fortunate to meet and work with in both Rehoboth and Washington over the Independence Week activities, (Yes, I said week.)

There were lots of great people out and about this past week and I was fortunate to be able to see many of them out and about and work with many more at the events.

LOVE Weekend, which will always hold a place in my art after six years of serving as chair, was again the highlight of the weekend. Julian Marsh did one kick ass job with the music and all the hot boys made it one great night.

Michele Miruski did it up right for our Military Maneuvers Party at Cloud on Friday July 4th, despite the HUGE downpour outside. What a great night.

Saturday July 5th Rehoboth: Atmos Events joins the LOVE Benefit Committee to host the LOVE ON THE BEACH tent event LIVE! on "Poodle Beach" in Rehoboth. The fun starts at noon and goes until 3pm. Contests, give aways, CDs, DVDs, lots of freebies all afternoon! Buy your LOVE tickets ($50) for the saturday night main event featuring one of my favorites, DJ Julian Marsh. Sunday July 6th Rehoboth & Washington, DC!!!: It's never been done before, but what the hell. We'll actually hold two events in two cities at the same time. This weekend in Rehoboth we bring back the AtmosBPM Party we launched last summer. DJ Jason Horswill palys this weekend's parties in Reho! We are relaunching our AtmosBPM dance music countdown chart and the party will give Atmos boys and girls a preview of the weekly chart. Along with the party and new chart, next week our website will include new exclusive AtmosBPM content including party news and DJ interviews.

Atmos dance club DJs from across the country supply information on club play for the BPM chart. They report. We chart. Jason plays. You dance. All night. Debuts With a Touch of Naughty Sex
Appeal For DC’s Early Evening Crowd

A little titillation combined with cheap drinks never hurt anyone, that we know of, and that seems to be the driving theme behind the latest party from promoter Bill Alldredge and his Atmos team here in Washington, DC.

“tease” sexy tea dance sundays held 5pm-11pm lands at Pasha on P Street (Atmos Event’s home base for Delirium Sundays @ Pasha in DC) starting this Sunday June 22 for a series of special summer tea dances promising more than just a twist on the obvious play on the words sexy and tea.

“We’ve had some much fun with the “Circuitry” holiday weekend parties this year and the Sunday weekly events held at Pasha last fall, that the tea dances that went along with those were a natural off shoot into a party of their own. They were always some of my favorite events” says Alldredge.

“When we saw the energy and the types of guys who were with us at Pasha for the Cherry Tea Dance we hosted with DJ Joe Bermudez in April, we knew there was something here that DC wanted in the early evening.”

“There’s a different energy and mindset early on going into late night on Sundays. We could feel that and have seen this type of event in New York and other cities and wanted to do something to tap into it here. People are a bit more relaxed on Sundays. And sexy is a theme we can all relate to.”

Featuring sexy shirtless cocktail boys, a rotating team of hunky dancers on the tease boxes all evening, this party promises to have lots of sexy energy throughout this beautiful venue, but not so much that everyone wouldn’t feel comfortable attending.

Alldredge says that while sexy and provocative may be the energy of the party, don’t expect to see strip club performances by the dancers.

“We’re planning on sexy not raunchy, sometimes just a little skin is more enticing that showing all you got. Beautiful men can entice you with a simple smile, so imagine a bevy of these shirtless boys in a square cuts tending your every need and dancing on the boxes. Heating you up or cooling you down after you leave the dance floor. That may prove to be the ultimate tease, hence the name.”

And the “teasing” doesn’t stop with the cocktail boys and dancers serving happy hour specials and $2 specialty drinks all night. There will be special prizes for the hottest shirtless guys there for the party as well promises the host.

“The more sexy exposed chests I see in the bar the better, but beware the ‘tease’ queen will flag those not up to standards” he says with a grin.

And while the draw might be the sexy nature of the party, music is still the key to this and the Atmos parties at Pasha. DJ Jason Horswill spins the 5pm-11pm party and brings what Alldredge calls the “Atmos” sound to the event.

“Jason has made a name for himself in DC playing the Cherry Preview Parties we hosted earlier this year at Delirium Sundays @ Pasha, and other venues. His sound is clean with incredible vocals, rhythms and great beats. Perfect for our crowd. No crash can banging music allowed. This is a sound we are dedicated to at our parties. The first Tease party is scheduled for Sundays June 22, with the next two on July 6 and July 20. Presented by Atmos Events as part of their Delirium Sundays @ Pasha events, Atmos also produces “Circuitry” holiday weekend parties at the same venue.

Inferno Party 3: Tidal Heat Wave over Memorial Weekend in Rehoboth was bigger than ever! Atmos Events wants to say a special thanks to the hundreds of Atmos Boys (and girls) that made this event such a fun party.

A special thanks to those who stood in line on Saturday night. Even though the line stretched down Rehoboth Avenue, we appreciate your patience. From all accounts everyone seemed to have a "hot" time. DJ Ting kept the dance floor packed all night and there wasn't room out on the back patio for one more hot body!

We did temporarily run out of the limited edition Inferno Party 3 CDs, but we will have a few more on hand when we return to the beach on June 7 for "Divalicious" @ Cloud 9.

Atmos Events Replacement Cards For The Summer Party Season!

It's May 21, do you know where your Atmos Events Card is??? Yes, we know. The washer got it, the dry cleaner dissolved it and maybe even the dog ate it. But this weekend is the BIG kickoff of the summer party season at the beach and you're gonna need that card.

Never fear, we can handle it. Just make sure to reply back to this week's email and let us know you need a new or replacement card. We'll be working the next few days to make sure we get your new card all ready for summer. Just tell us "I need my Atmos Card!" And we'll get things moving!

Once the work is done, we'll make it easy to make sure you have it before party time on saturday night. We;ll be around town and on the beach with the cards ready for pick up. AtmosEvents: "The Summer of Divas!"

Well summer is almost here and I am convinced that will be the gayest freakin' summer on record. Not because of some homo induced summer luv fever, or that Mario Lopez will schedule a press conference in WeHo announcing he is gay (and in love with yours truly), or even that reruns of Will & Grace will probably make it all the way to China this year. (no emails if they already have!)

No. This summer will be soooo gay because it seems like every time I pick up the paper or go online I can't get away from a simple truth...there are more gay iconic divas running around loose on some kind of "farewell" or "I'm-still-here-so-look-at-me-I-can-still-dance," tour.

That's not to say I won't lap up every morsel of it. But when we have Madonna (turning 50 BTW), Donna Summer (fierce with a new single) AND George "that-wasn't-me-officer" Michael ALL touring at virtually the same time. Somebody sprinkled a little too much fairy dust around.

So in honor of what looks like to be a great time on the dance floor and at the concert halls this summer from some of our best know idols, I or we decided to call the summer of 2008 "the Summer of Divas!"

And in honor of this proclamation, we'll have lots of contests for our members and prizes at the DC and Rehoboth including concert tickets, CDs and more! We will also do our first Madonna themed party! So be on the look out, you never know when another diva might be just around the corner.

Atmos Events Cards Good @ All of Our DC and Rehoboth Events

It's May 7th, do you know where your Atmos Card is?

Yes, the summer is about here and if history is any indicator, washing machines and dry cleaners from DC to Reho to Philly and beyond have claimed another batch of Atmos Cards through the long cold Winter.

Never fear. If your beloved and well used Atmos Card has gone on to "card heaven" take comfort in knowing that a replacement is near. Simply send an email from the address we have on file requesting a replacement. We will have them ready for pick up at the next event. (Card requests by noon Wednesday)

Cards replaced by May 31 are free, after that date there is a $5 fee.

Summer Party Season '08 Begins In Only Two Weeks!

Yep! It's that time again. When all the fun in DC and Rehoboth really starts to happen. And we are making doubly sure this year that we are ready with events in both cities throughout the summer.

Saturday night May 17 we return to Rehoboth with another season of C9 Saturdays @ Cloud 9. First up is DJ Mark Thomas spinning our Summer Preview Party. Mark your calendars (or watch your member email) we'll be hosting great dance parties all but two Saturdays until Labor Day Weekend (we'll take break for a couple of Pride Celebrations).

Our theme parties return this summer. Inferno 3 "tidal heat wave" the third annual Memorial Weekend party slams into the DE shore Saturday night May 24. Lots more about that party coming up in member emails and here in the blog soon!

Alright, I know it seems very early to start thinking about the summer beach season, but NOW is a great time to start thinking about sunny beaches and hot boys with tans instead of all this dreary cold and nasty weather.

So we are glad to announce that we will again be hosting the Beach House Rush&Reunion party! This time in conjunction with our regular President's Weekend "Circuitry" Delirium Sundays @ Pasha.

If you want to have a great time at the beach this summer, this is the place to start. We make the process easy for people who have a beach house to rent to a group, a group house that is looking to fill its house shares and guys looking for a cool place to call home in Rehoboth for the summer, to all get together.

There is no pre-registration, just bring yourself and your friends to the party. BHR&R runs 5p-9p Sunday February 17. Immediately following we go right into our "Circuitry" event with DJ Josh Gram. (This is a Cherrry Preview party)
