Appeal For DC’s Early Evening Crowd

A little titillation combined with cheap drinks never hurt anyone, that we know of, and that seems to be the driving theme behind the latest party from promoter Bill Alldredge and his Atmos team here in Washington, DC.

“tease” sexy tea dance sundays held 5pm-11pm lands at Pasha on P Street (Atmos Event’s home base for Delirium Sundays @ Pasha in DC) starting this Sunday June 22 for a series of special summer tea dances promising more than just a twist on the obvious play on the words sexy and tea.

“We’ve had some much fun with the “Circuitry” holiday weekend parties this year and the Sunday weekly events held at Pasha last fall, that the tea dances that went along with those were a natural off shoot into a party of their own. They were always some of my favorite events” says Alldredge.

“When we saw the energy and the types of guys who were with us at Pasha for the Cherry Tea Dance we hosted with DJ Joe Bermudez in April, we knew there was something here that DC wanted in the early evening.”

“There’s a different energy and mindset early on going into late night on Sundays. We could feel that and have seen this type of event in New York and other cities and wanted to do something to tap into it here. People are a bit more relaxed on Sundays. And sexy is a theme we can all relate to.”

Featuring sexy shirtless cocktail boys, a rotating team of hunky dancers on the tease boxes all evening, this party promises to have lots of sexy energy throughout this beautiful venue, but not so much that everyone wouldn’t feel comfortable attending.

Alldredge says that while sexy and provocative may be the energy of the party, don’t expect to see strip club performances by the dancers.

“We’re planning on sexy not raunchy, sometimes just a little skin is more enticing that showing all you got. Beautiful men can entice you with a simple smile, so imagine a bevy of these shirtless boys in a square cuts tending your every need and dancing on the boxes. Heating you up or cooling you down after you leave the dance floor. That may prove to be the ultimate tease, hence the name.”

And the “teasing” doesn’t stop with the cocktail boys and dancers serving happy hour specials and $2 specialty drinks all night. There will be special prizes for the hottest shirtless guys there for the party as well promises the host.

“The more sexy exposed chests I see in the bar the better, but beware the ‘tease’ queen will flag those not up to standards” he says with a grin.

And while the draw might be the sexy nature of the party, music is still the key to this and the Atmos parties at Pasha. DJ Jason Horswill spins the 5pm-11pm party and brings what Alldredge calls the “Atmos” sound to the event.

“Jason has made a name for himself in DC playing the Cherry Preview Parties we hosted earlier this year at Delirium Sundays @ Pasha, and other venues. His sound is clean with incredible vocals, rhythms and great beats. Perfect for our crowd. No crash can banging music allowed. This is a sound we are dedicated to at our parties. This sound is universal.”

“We’ve been very fortunate to have Julian Marsh, Michele Miruski, DJ Escape, DJ Alexander and Joe Bermudez play at our Delirium Sundays and “Circuitry” events here in the past year, so we plan to keep the musical standards for the party high as well.”

The first Tease party is scheduled for Sundays June 22, with the next two on July 6 and July 20. Presented by Atmos Events as part of their Delirium Sundays @ Pasha events, Atmos also produces “Circuitry” holiday weekend parties at the same venue.

The host venue Pasha is a sleek modern dance and lounge space located at 2147 P Street NW in Washington, DC, just two blocks west of DuPont Circle Metro on the Red Line.
